History of the apartment
The house was built in 1881 by the farmer Sven Månsson, who however died already in 1886. His widow Anna Månsdotter continued the farming. In 1892 the son Johannes married.
At that time an apartment with 2 rooms and a kitchen was constructed for Anna Månsdotter. Here she lived until 1926. After that workers on the farm used it. But from about 1950 it was not more used for living.
In the beginning of the 1990-s the apartment was restored. The old carpenters workshop was included as well as the old grain storage upstairs. At the rebuilding the old atmosphere has been kept as well as possible but combined with modern comfort.
It is now rented out as a vacation apartment. We hope that our guests do enjoy the atmosphere.
