Hehe, well well... it's been awhile since last time. Well school has taken alot of my sparetime(has it?) and other stuff. Anyways I have applied to two different schools and well... I hope I get into either one of em. The schools are PlaygroundSquad and DMD-Hultsfred. I'd be really happy if I got into PlaygroundSquad.
Also made a special pic I sent to PlaygroundSquad of what I've done in Q3F, showing off the playerskins(Recon, Paramedic and Civillian). Only the models aren't my work. Made by Hoffa and BobotheSeal.

Also gotten myself a summerjob this year too even though it wasn't so sure this time. And also maybe managed to get time off week 32 when it is Medievalweek on Gotland here in Sweden. Though I got a problem not sure whether I have some friends with me or not.
Were planning on going to Hultsfredsfestival to but same problem there... no friends seems to be going there this year... what the h*ll are they doin' ?

And on this comming Friday we're to have a huge LAN(Local Area Network) with my organisation(nLD). We expect about 200 computers to be there... 220-230 with our own computers. It's gonna be one weekend. I hope everything goes well and that all who comes will have a good time and play some really intense gaming. The event is called phetlan. In short you can expect a few pictures of it here on my site.

Q3F beta2 has been released and can be found and downloaded on it's official page: http://www.q3f.com. Though if you want to try it you ought to have a pretty good computer and the game Quake III Arena as it is a mod. Many seem to forget it's still a beta and that means a testversion of the final. Though we lost many players mostly because of the quite big FPS drop. Kinda sad... Many of the elite went inactive. I hope we get this problem solved till the final version of Q3F.
Anyways there isn't much todo for Q3F artwise anymore I have just done a simple map item for the q3f version of the popular qwtf map Rock. It's a gasmask.

One day I sat down and just stared out the window at the trees outside that have recently gotten green and all that. So I wondered how to make a nice looking tree in 3D Studio max. So I sat down and experimentet alittle. Though these trees were not made for up-close-scenes :). I might do a tutor on this someday.

Also I have finished my special assignment in school. Ie. I've learned meself how to animate. You can find my very first animations under the portfolio. They're not so good but I think it's quite acceptable for a first try at character animation. So in a near future you can expect a fully working Quake III Arena model with own animations.

Made meself a presentation on a swedish community that I like quite much. And no it is not inspired by Diablo or BaldursGate games it is inpired by gothic architecture though it isn't that much gothic over it. A template.

And to the last... I have to move... this page that is. The domain www.qlz.nu will stop exist after this summer 'cause I'm all out of money. Can't afford this anymore so I'll try to find some other place with less exclusive url. Like topic says, a smaller update. Not that much have happened since last update. Havn't really finished any work. Just started a few so maybe the next update will contain some fresh new work.

To the right you can find some pics of a speedmodeling contest I entered. This time it was Headgear. Unfortunate I hade to consider it finished after just one hour and a half because I had to leave the computer. Dunno what I think about it. (the head itself is not mine, it can be downloaded from 3dcafe.com).
And for Q3F I finished the civillian pretty long time ago. Though I cannot show it here because of PR stuff. It might be avaible later. Q3F seem to be finished now. Havn't spoken to any of em for a while so I really can't tell.

And as usual life aint going that good... ehm schools is kind of confusing now. They throw in alot of shit in your head about studying further and so on...
Also been sick(er than usual). Though it's getting better.
Went to a club last Friday in Stockholm. Technoir. Pretty cool. Good music and nice people. Though I only knew a few. The time between the club and me getting home was a hell. Waiting on a bus/train outside in the cold only to find out there was a warm place togo to.

Dunno where to begin exactly. Atleast it was along time ago I updated this page. Havn't had time for it but I guess I have nothing todo now. Alot of things have happened and few can be told.

First of all I entered a speedmodeling contest over at maxforums.org and came up with this Lavaplant/flower thingy. Since this sessions topic was surrealism I had pretty free hands and made a nice render of it. Took me about 2hours to complete including all test renders. Might turns this into a WIP and work some more of it and make a whole scene. Who knows?

Also started on a human body. First of it was meant as lowpoly and might still be. But I played around alittle with the doodle and slapped on smoothing and it looked pretty good. Dunno what todo with this either really. We'll see after I've finished my work for q3f.

And speaking of q3f Im just about to test Beta2 for the very first time now. Since now they implemented all nice graphic. I've also made some more on the civilian. It should have been finished now but hey... it's been xmas and newyearseve.

Other than that it hasnt happened much. Spent some time with my family&friends the last couple weeks. Also my brother payed us a visit all the way from Gothenburg. He also managed to brake my playstation. Though it's more likley it's because of it's age. It's one of the oldest/first models. So I sat down the other day and tried to fix it and managed to get a really sweet kiss of it ie. I got electricity through my arms. So I got this near death feeling. Afterwards my arms and chest hurt alot.

And my social life havn't made any bigger advancements either. Still kind of semi-in-love with this Anna but she lives too far away. And my friends have made me dissappointed several times now I'm starting to wonder wether they are my friends or not. If you wanna checkout a IRL soap-opera in swedish visit the irc channel #nld on quakenet and just idle.

And right now it's late in the evening and my mother is practicly screaming in the phone in finnish. Something must have happend to one/some of my relatives over there. *sigh* Here goes another funeral.
As you can tell... my life has nothing but gone down the past few months. Wonder when I hit the bottom, can't be that far now...

And by the way... both xmas and newyearseve sucked bigtime...

Have done some school work. Started on this page to a folder about the school where I should do a presentation for the Electric-engineering program(dunno the correct phrase in english). So I made the circuitboard in 3dsmax and the rest in photoshop. Nothing that complicated. Havnt put down so much energy in it either.

Also got to learn a new technique by a friend(www.delerious.nu). Looks pretty good. Fooled around with a pic of me(yeah I know my Ego is pretty big :). Turned out pretty good. Looks like an old brochure that has been folded and used frequently over a large time span. Thanks alot delete! ;)

And then the last WIP I've come up with. This is my lajv/lrp dagger that I'm about to order soon. Just gotta do a nice presentation of it and I'm getting there. Just needs some more tweaking and add a little more details. Anyone got a quadro gfxcard to give away? ;) It goes pretty slow to work with that scene. But I'll survive I think.

And today I should have been to a Street&Sound Expo but me friends wanted to get up early in the morning to be there on time(I had to get up at 7AM). But I canceled it now. Was to tired and dont have the money. But in some way I regret it a little. Damn! ;)

Had some big tests in school this weekend. Nationaltest wich is for the whole country. The gov. wants to check the swedish students to see how good they really are. It sucks! Anyway when those were done and I thought "NOW! I can relax..." they just keep on throwing alot of work on us. So I'll have to do schoolwork at HOME! And goto school 5 days a week(I'm used to 3days a week). Man life sucks! ;)

Hmm just as I write this I was wonderng why Anna hav'nt called/mailed me. "Master I got mail for you!" And guess who mailed me? Anna ofcourse! She's having probs. *Sigh* GIRLS!!!! agh!

Got this new design up. I felt that I need to refresh something in my life but never guessed it would end up me working on a new sitedesign. Anyway it's up and not 100% complete but most pages are finished.
The main thing is that I feel refreshed and can go on with my life. This may sound wierd(is this site the guys life?) No, not really just that many bad things have happened to me this autum. Things that have kept nagging me all the time. So I needed to do something new and creative.

Currently working on the civilian skin for q3f. Havnt done that much on it since I've got IRL problems. Looking forward to finish it soon.

And for me love it isn't going that well. Have a couple girls after me that I really don't want. And I can tell you that it isn't even fun anymore since the relations just get deeper and deeper and I can't say no! Gotta learn that from my ex-girlfriend, she was pretty good at saying no! :)

Me and me friends organisation(nLD) arranged a lanparty couple weeks ago. Total attenders is counted to 117 where 12 were admins and 1 was All*Treble. Our biggest party ever. We gained some profit of it and some publicity in the localnews paper. Look out for a phet(are)lan. In english the previous name was Fatlan and the new name is Fat(ter)lan.
