Edmund Black Adder!
Edmund Black Adder is an arrogant, mean, vicious, agonising, brutal, cowardly, intelligent bastard. With a finely tuned arrogance sustained by unparalleled egocentricity, a sharp and easily employed wit which seeks to demoralize and deject, a lack of concern for those less fortunate, and an intolerance for stupidity, Edmund Blackadder becomes readily recognizable throughout history as an uncompromising bastard.
Blackadder has appeared through history in a number of roles - as a Prince, a Lord, a servant to a Prince and a Captain in World War 1. With the exception of his character in the original series - a fragile, sniveling incompetent and a poor excuse for a man - Edmund Blackadder bares the traits of a true smart-arse, implementing his knowledge to great affect, much to the distress of the feeble minded.

A man may fight for many things: his country, his principles, his friends, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally I'd mud wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock, and a sack of French porn.
