FOUR WEEK CLINICAL TRAINING PROGRAMME Course commences the first day of each month MEDICINA ALTERNATIVA INSTITUTE (ALMA ATA 1962) AFFILIATED TO THE OPEN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY THE ACUPUNCTURE FOUNDATION OF SRI LANKA in Collaboration with The International College of Acupuncture Sponsor a Four Week intensive Clinical and Therapeutic Training Programme (Approved by the Academy of Science, China) in ACUPUNCTURE & THE PRINCIPLES OF HOMOEOPATHY & MANIPULATIVE MEDICINES for Foreign Practitioners & Students at the Institute of Acupuncture, Lasertherapy and Homoeopuncture University Clinic KALUBOWILA, COLOMBO - SRI LANKA Details: Duration of the course : 4 Weeks Specification : The course begins the first day of each month and starts at 07.30 hours daily at The Medicina Alternativa Clinic, Colombo, Sri Lanka and endsthe 28th. Daily there are clinical demonstrations and discussions on therapeutic practices of acupuncture, homoeopathy, homoeopuncture, manipulative medicines and other forms of Complementary medical practises. Over 300 patients attend the clinic daily, providing You the opportunity to develop diagnostic and treatment skills, communication and patient handling care. Lectures are delivered daily and adequate time is allowed for open discussions. The evening sessions end at about 21.00 hours. There is a long lunch break. Sunday is usually a free day. Clinical Homoeopathy Course Fee : The normal Course registration fee is US$ 1000. Special consession fee US$ 395 granted for students if you are a junior practitioner (less than 5 years practice) or a student. (Consession fee granted on the basis of the candidate residing at the University Hotel for the 4 weeks, (which excludes the charges for certificates) during whick time residence in the University Hotel is mandatory and the residince fee for 04 weeks är US$ 756/- for a single room which is air conditioned, equipped with hot and cold water and the price includes daily breakfast. Please note that this fee includes the surcharge on accomodation including Government tax on the residency and sales tax. On successfully completing the course you can apply for (a) Certificate of Membership of the Acupuncture Foundation of Sri Lanka and (b) Certificate of Diploma of the International College of Acupuncture.
