…is a seaside town which is located 400km North of Stockholm, between two twohundred meters high mountains. Population is about 100 000 which is just the right size in order to enjoy the advantages of a small town aswell as a big town. -Whereever you are, it's close to nature, close to shoppingareas and close to pleasures!
The town's become famous for its annual
Gatufest (Streetparty), The Mid Sweden University, its beautiful central parts with late19th and early 20th century buildings, the Birsta Mall-area, The Culturemagazine (library and museum under the same roof in a magnificent building). The town also have an intl airport with a new artcentre.Look of a view (updates several times an hour!) over a part of Sundsvall Harbour, a fishrestaurant and E4 highway. It's not a particular beautiful view and not at all representative for the town but it's better than nothing, right? -You can also look of a map over Sweden and Scandinavia where you can find Sundsvall in the middle of Sweden by the coast.
Big Swedish wellknown companys in Sundsvall: SCA Paper, Akzo Nobel, IKEA, Sunds Defibrator, ABB.
Thinking of visiting Sundsvall or Sweden? -I can strongly recommend a visit during Summertime (Jun-Aug). By that time you'll find the country worth the trip 100% guaranteed!
