Sport is fun and one of the most funny sports is ice hockey,i talk about EHL(European Hockey League) and
of cause NHL(National Hockey League). Favorite team in sweden is the team
FarjestadsBK Wolfs.And in NHL it`s two teams Philadelphia Flyers and the San Jose Sharks..
FarjestadsBK Wolfs is a great team always had always will,they have acouple of gold and always been there when the playoffs
have begun.one of there biggest triumph was when they took gold 96/97 and 97/98.
Now over to NHL and we start with one of the"newest"team San Jose,the first season was in 1992/93.Arena San Jose Arena capacity 17 442.Location a city in californien 80km south from San Fransico.They play in the western conference. they have some swedes also in the team Nicklas Sundstrom and Marcus Ragnarsson,next season 2000/2001 they have drafted former Farjestads keeper Vesa Toskala,in my opinion a good choice and even a better goalie then Steve Shields that is the number one goalie now.But i am sure that Toskala will take over.. Over the continent and BOOM we are in Philadelphia...!!One if the most heaviest team in NHL.You got guys like Eric Lindros, Keith Primaue,Chris Therien,Craig Berube,Rick Tocchet,Dan Mcgilles,Luke Richardson and John Leclair...all theese weight over a 100kg each/Lindros 107kg,Primeau 102kg and on and on...first season in NHL was 1967/1968,they have 2 stanley cups 1974 and 1975,also here we have had some swedes,the biggest might be the goalie Pelle Lindberg,that past away in the 80's after been to a party,smasched his Ferrari into a tree...then we have had players like Mikael Renberg,Kjell Samuelssonl.....Renberg was with Lindros and Leclair called LOD=Legion Of Doom in the middle of the 90`s they produced goal after goal...and became one of the leagues most atemitated**** line home ice arena is the First Union Centre capacity 19 511 and location we are in the Eastern Conference 1999/2000 starting line up.
