Rock music in Getinge with "Gyllene Tider"

It's not every week there is a rock concert in Getinge, but last Friday night it happened in Medborgarhuset. "Gyllene Tider" was responsible for the music, a band with with local connection, consisting of four guys in the age 17-19.

"Gyllene Tider" consists of the harplinge boys Mikael Andersson and Mats Persson, together with Janne Carlsson from Steninge and Per Gessle, Söndrum. They have played together since August last year.
The Friday's perfomance was their first perfomance in front of an audience. The group plays mostly rock, but has also acoustic music on their repertory. Almost everything they play is own material. Mats and Per write the songs, and they keep themselves to Swedish lyrics. The equipment is impressive, but they've also invested 50 000 SEK in it. Money which they have got through sommer jobs, emptied savings books and kind parents...
The group members' only worry is the lack of premises. Lately they have been without a rehearsal place. If that problem gets solved then it will be golden times!
